Questions we get
Six pieces is a shelf test, not a commitment. That is exactly why the minimum sits there.
[X] weeks for a repeat order of up to [N] pieces. If a piece is moving, tell us early — we hold capacity for shops whose pieces move.
New colourways [X] times a year: same forms, new gradients. Your customers meet a familiar object in a new colour, not a new object.
No — and not by accident. Each cup is trimmed to height by hand, and we move that height between batches on purpose, so the volumes, the proportions and the combinations change. Espresso side [XX–XX] ml, the other side [XX–XX] ml. A customer who bought last season can come back and build a pair that did not exist before.
Yes. Cafés serving the same drink every day get one spec: we cut the order to a single height, record the measurements and the glaze, and the restock in six months matches what is already in your room. Ten years of custom tableware is how we know we can promise that.
Each cup is wrapped in paper and boxed in its own cardboard tube — it can go straight on the shelf and straight into a customer's hands, with nothing to wrap at the till. The tubes travel together in a filled outer box. If one breaks anyway, we replace it at our cost, with your next order or on its own.

My name is Eugene. I make contemporary ceramics that live somewhere between function and sculpture — simple forms, clean lines, objects that feel natural in everyday life. My background is in graphic design, and it still shapes how I see things: composition, balance, proportion.
Every Hourglass-cup is slip-cast, trimmed and glazed by hand in my Tel Aviv studio. Behind it are ten years of custom ceramics with repeat supply — recipes, moulds and measurements on file. So when a piece has to come back exactly as it was, it does.
